We dared to ask why. We questioned what we were putting on our bodies — our skin, our largest organ. We got intentional about our ingredients. Not just in moisturizers, but in our detergents, deodorants - everything that touches or enters our bodies.

It started with those questions. And it led us to a new way of living — a more conscious, cleaner path. Because we believe in protecting our two most valuable assets: our health and our time.

Hi friends, I’m Katrina.

Welcome to your plant-based body care experience.

K'DARA was created with so much love by my mother and me, and we’re incredibly grateful to have you here in our HAUS.

I’m a former Cardiovascular ICU Nurse turned Entrepreneur and Founder of K'DARA — a brand rooted in clean living, intentionality, and self-healing.

Most days, you’ll find me pouring into this community we call K'DARA HAUS — a space to inspire each other to invest in what matters most: our health and our time.

My path has been unconventional. I’ve always had an insatiable curiosity about the world — and a deep belief that knowledge unlocks our fullest potential. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned on this journey, it’s this: We have the power to heal ourselves — and to design a life that’s truly our own.

I spent years traveling the country as a Cardiovascular ICU nurse, specializing in a life-saving machine called ECMO — a perfusion system that pumps the heart and lungs. Through that journey, I witnessed the fragility of life, the power of presence, and the urgency of protecting our wellness.

That’s why K'DARA exists. No more bandaids — we’re getting to the root. This is about nourishing our skin, healing our bodies, and living intentionally — from the inside out.

I’m a wanderer at heart — a creative soul who finds joy in traveling, meeting incredible people, and letting plants and nature be my greatest teachers in healing.

Some fun facts? I’m obsessed with design and architecture. Give me a mid-century modern home with Japandi influence, and I’m in heaven. While I was born in the city, I’m definitely a coastal girl at heart — dreaming of a sunny homestead, surrounded by plants and peace.

Patricia’s Story

Hi, I’m Trish — Co-Founder of K'DARA and proud mom. K'DARA is a curation from a mother-daughter duo… built from love, vision, and generations of hardworking women.

I’m a retired Dallas Police Sergeant, with 37 years of service — but long before that, my story began on a homestead. Everything we ate, we grew. I was raised to understand the healing power of ingredients — the kind that come straight from the Earth.

Fun Facts: I’ve always been crafty and creative. Over 20 years ago, I was doing craft shows across Texas, curating things from scratch with my own two hands. I remember telling my daughter, Katrina:

"One day, I’d love to make my own body butters — something I’d actually want to use. Better ingredients. Clean, natural, nourishing."

And now here we are. Full circle. If I’m a testament to anything, it’s this: If you can envision it, go for it. Your dreams are never too late.

We’re building a community rooted in clean, intentional living — one city at a time. And I love every moment of this journey, especially getting to travel the country with my daughter and meet our beautiful K'DARA HAUS audience face to face.

You all are such a high-vibration community — full of intention, curiosity, and care. It brings us so much joy to see people becoming more mindful about what we put onto our skin. This plant-based body care journey is exactly that: a journey. A curation. An experience worth having — and worth sharing.

Kavbyn’s Journey – Behind the Chemistry

Hey guys. Popping into the timeline here. I know, I know — I spend a lot of time behind the scenes… I enjoy it that way. But I just wanted to say this journey has been amazing.

Thank you for enjoying our formulations. I helped curate the chemistry behind these products because in our family, we’ve always been intentional about ingredients. And let’s be real — we’ve also always been a bit of texture snobs!

We truly enjoy moisturizing with butters that are non-greasy. And those face oils? Holy grail for my face and beard. (And my mom will tell you — don’t forget to moisturize your neck!)

I’m always formulating, mixing, testing — and this journey has been deeply personal. It’s for people like me: those with sensitive skin and texture sensitivities. This line is more than skincare. It’s a full sensory and olfactory experience — crafted using clean ingredients.
