Many pets simply do not like taking medicine of any kind, or they are put off by the smell or taste of a pet CBD oil tincture. If this is the case with your pet, a CBD infused pet treat might be a better option. Not only do pets associate a treat with something good, CBD infused treats are also a fun and easy way of giving your pet a dose of CBD. And because they taste delicious, and come in a variety of different flavors, giving the a K’dara pet CBD chew might just be the right solution for you.
Follow the dosage as provided on the pet CBD chew label, starting with the lowest recommended amount and slowly increasing it within the guidelines until your pet finds relief.
If that doesn’t work, you can use the following table as a guideline:
|Pet Weight||Low Dose||Medium Dose||Strong Does|
|5 - 10 pounds||1 mg||3 mg||5 mg|
|11 - 20 pounds||2 mg||6 mg||10 mg|
|21 - 30 pounds||3 mg||8 mg||15 mg|
|31 - 40 pounds||4 mg||10 mg||20 mg|
|41 - 50 pounds||5 mg||12 mg||25 mg|
|51 - 60 pounds||6 mg||14 mg||30 mg|
|61 - 70 pounds||7 mg||16 mg||35 mg|
|71 - 80 pounds||8 mg||18 mg||40 mg|
|81 - 90 pounds||9 mg||20 mg||45 mg|
|91 - 100 pounds||10 mg||24 mg||50 mg|
Give CBD every 8 hours or when needed. For everything else, give once or twice a day.
As more research is being done on CBD, scientists are discovering that CBD has many different benefits and can potentially help relieve a wide variety of symptoms and ailments in pets.
However, because the American Veterinary Medical Association has not made any official statements on the use of CBD in pets, K’dara is unable to make any claims about how our CBD products may benefit specific health conditions.
